COMMUNITY HAIR FUND

The Community Hair Fund is dedicated to supporting local individuals (Lake Country residents only) in need by providing hair services that promote self-esteem and well-being. Below are the rules and guidelines for those interested in applying for assistance through the fund.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Residency: Applicants must be residents of Lake Country and surrounding communities.

  2. Financial OR Emotional NeedS: Applicants should demonstrate financial need. Individuals experiencing emotional distress or challenges are encouraged to apply

 

All ages are welcome to apply, but parental consent is required for applicants under 18.

How to Apply:

  1. Application Form: Complete the Community Hair Fund application form, which can be accessed at www.bbhairstudio.ca. or at our storefront BB Hair Studio. 

  2. Personal Statement: Include a brief personal statement (maximum 300 words) explaining why you are seeking assistance and how it would positively impact your life. Or why you are nominating that person.

  3. Submission: Applications can be submitted online through www.bbhairstudio.ca or in-person at BB Hair.

Selection Process:

  1. All applications will be reviewed monthly by a board of local representatives .

  2. Only those approved will be contacted to book services.

Additional Information:

  • All services will be provided by trained professionals at BB Hair Studio.

  • The Community Hair Fund is supported by donations and local fundraising efforts. Contributions are always welcome to help expand our reach.
